It took three years and was a lot harder than I thought-especially given the pace that WarGaming released new ship lines-but I finally achieved that goal. ![]() Many bad decisions and missteps such as the Puerto Rico dockyard debacle, the implementation of reworked carriers and submarines, and the rigged Santa Crates of the 2020 holiday season soured my opinions and overall desire to continue on, so I set a goal for myself: to research every single tech tree tier 10, and then get out. However, over the years I suppose I realized I no longer enjoyed sailing the seas as much as I used to. It also helped spark a serious interest in naval warfare and history which I continue to pursue to this day. It really was a swell time to say the least: I met quite a few pleasant acquaintances and friends over the years, and had many great battles with opponents that were both skilled in battle and pleasant to chat with. ![]() ![]() Those were a different time: CVs fought much differently than they do nowadays, British battleships were a pipe dream, and submarines were taboo. When I first started World of Warships back in 2017, my goal was simply to get the American and Japanese tier 10s.
